Gerald Jordan

Gerald Jordan R., living in Venice, FL passed at his home with family at his side after a brief illness on Wednesday, March 9th 2016, at age 82. Born October 22, 1933, in St Louis, MO,the son of Arthur Jordan and Gertrude (nee Sullivan) Jordan, he was married to Joan(Politte) Jordan until her death in February 2000. Jordan was a Korean War Army veteran & worked in the insurance sales business much of his life He is survived by 2 children: Brenda Giblin of Venice, FL and Douglas Jordan of St Louis, MO. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was an uncle to many while also being a great uncle, a great-great uncle and a great-great-great uncle. He is also survived by his partner of 15 years, Inge Yadon, also of Venice, FL. In lieu of Flowers memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society. Services: Family and friends will gather at JOHN L. ZIEGENHEIN & SONS FUNERAL HOMES (South County), 4830 Lemay Ferry Rd. (63129) on Wednesday, Marcy 30, 2016 to leave at 1:30 pm for committal funeral services at 2:30 pm Wednesday at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery March 30, 2016
