Smiljanich, George, asleep in Jesus on Friday, April 19, 2013 at age 97. A Pearl Harbor survivor and beloved husband of the late Rose Etta "Jeanne" Smiljanich (nee Bowen). Dear brother of the late Peter, Emil and Paul R. Smiljanich. Dear uncle of Richard and Sandra Smiljanich. Dear brother in law, uncle, friend and hunting buddy of Marvin Adam and fishing buddy of Gene Esker. A member of Carpenters Local #73 for over 60 years and a member of Gardenville-Cache Lodge #655 AF & AM, Louis A. Melchior VFW Post #8888, Golden Anniversary Post #555 A. L. and served on the USS Nevada. Memorials to the St. Louis Veterans Home or charity of donor's choice would be appreciated. Services: Visitation Sunday 2 - 4 pm at JOHN L. ZIEGENHEIN & SONS, 7027 Gravois (63116). Committal funeral services Monday 2:00 pm at the Adams Cemetery, St. James, MO. April 21, 2013
