List, George W. Sr., fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Tuesday, June 21, 2016, age 87. Beloved husband of the late Helen H. List (nee DeLaLeurs). Beloved father of Elizabeth "Lela" (John) LaHa, Deborah (Timothy) Ledbetter and George W. (Melissa) List, Jr. Dear grandfather of Jason (Jen) LaHa, Corey Ledbetter, Jessie (Crystal) Ledbetter, Alaina Angus, George List, Emma List and Jessica Purdy. Dear great-grandfather of Tyler, Nathan, Natalie, Alex, Brianna, Gregory, Kadance, Addison and London. Dear brother-in-law of John (Theresa) DeLaLeurs. Dear uncle, great-uncle and friend to many. George was a very religious man who loved his faith and attended daily Mass whenever possible. He was the owner / operator of the Malm Florist in Oaklawn, Illinois for over 35+ years and loved teaching floral arranging. He also enjoyed artistic painting and playing pinochle. The family extends their sincere thanks to George's many friends who assisted with his healthcare and transportation needs. Memorials to a local animal shelter or the American Cancer Society are appreciated. Services: Visitation Wednesday, July 6th, at JOHN L. ZIEGENHEIN & SONS FUNERAL HOMES (South County), 4830 Lemay Ferry Rd. (63129) from 3 - 9 pm. Visitation Thursday, July 7th, from 9:00 am to 9:30 am then proceeding to Queen of All Saints Catholic Church for Mass at 10:00 am Thursday. Interment 12, noon Friday (7/8) at Chapel Hill Gardens South Cemetery, Oak Lawn , Illinois. July 6, 2016
