Schubert, Gary A. baptized into the hope of Christ's resurrection on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at age 69. Dear son of the late Butch and Ceal Schubert. Beloved father of Monica (Craig) Kiburz and Tracy Schubert. Dear grandfather of Carson Kiburz. Dear brother of Michael (Carol) Schubert. Dear special friend of Art Ruehl and Mike Roe. Dear cousin and friend to many. Gary retired from the St. Louis City Police Dept. after 30 years of service. He was extremely proud of being a Sergeant and was always passionate about serving and protecting his community. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Backstoppers are appreciated. Services: Visitation Sunday (9/23) from 4 to 8 pm at JOHN L. ZIEGENHEIN & SONS FUNERAL HOMES, 7027 Gravois (63116).
