Mattox, Gary Alva, 65 On Thursday April 6, 2017. Devoted husband of Angela (the Snow Cone Lady) Mattox; Loving father of Jason (Lisa) Mattox; Beloved son of Mary and the late Armin; Gary is also survived by 8 cherished siblings Mary (Denny) McMillian, Sharon (Joe) Weiszmann, Larry, Theresa (Pablo) Hernandez, Peggy (the late Wayne) Ochs, John (Mary) ,Annette (Randy) Snodgrass and Lisa (Joe) Gonzales; Our dear uncle, cousin and friend to many. A longtime local business owner, Gary started restaurants Cherokee Station and the Arnold Dairy Queen in the 80's before opening the popular "Best Snow Cone in St. Louis Sno-Biz" stand alongside his wife Angela; The Snow Cone Lady, on Telegraph in South County for 30 years. Gary was a long-time supporter and member, volunteer for the DAV; He will be greatly missed. SERVICES: Funeral Tuesday 10 am at JOHN L. ZIEGENHEIN & SONS FUNERAL HOMES (South County 4830 Lemay Ferry). Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. VISITATION April 10, 2017
