Gary Werner

Gary C. Werner, 75, passed away, Friday March 4, 2022. Dear husband of Julie Werner, nee Spooner, beloved father of; Jodi (Michael) Litvinov, Gary (Terri) Werner Jr., Richard (Dana Lee) Werner, and Jennifer (James) Gura, and son of the late Melvin Werner and the late Virginia Higgins, nee Lyerly. He is also survived by dear grandchildren, brothers, sisters, other relatives and many friends.

Gary was a proud retired member of Local one IBEW.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and Cardinals baseball.  He also enjoyed spending time with his granddaughters Mia and Maci.  In his younger years, he raced stock cars and enjoyed working on cars.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Johns UCC, attn: The Crossing Fund or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Services will be held at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons, 4830 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, MO 63129. Visitation, Sunday, March 20, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service, Monday, March 21, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. Interment New St. Johns Cemetery.
