Garnet Rogers

Rogers, Garnet M. (nee Helderle), entered into rest on Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at age 83. Garnet was born July 19, 1926 in St. Louis to Frank C. and Margaret Helderle (nee Lambertz). Garnet is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 61 years, William J. Rogers; two sons, John (Cindy) Rogers of St. Louis, and David (Lynn) Rogers of Chicago; one daughter, Linda (Bruce) Hopson of St. Louis; six grandchildren, Amy (Nelson) Nolte, Nathan Rogers, Katie Rogers, Gina Rogers, Anna Rogers and Andrew Hopson; three great grandchildren; her brother, Frank (Nancy) Helderle; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Services: Visitation Sunday, November 1, from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at JOHN L. ZIEGENHEIN & SONS (South County), 4830 Lemay Ferry Rd. (63129). Memorial service, Sunday 6:00 pm, directly following visitation. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or March of Dimes.
