Grueninger, Gail A. (nee Young) entered into rest on Wednesday, February 21, 2018, at age 83. Beloved wife of the late Rev. Walter W. Grueninger for 34 years. Beloved mother of Gail G. (the late Duncan) Hill, Walter W. (Lori) Grueninger and Jim D. (Shari) Grueninger. Loving grandmother of Joe and Ed Hill, Krystyn (Grant) Herbers, Bill ( Karli) Grueninger, Angela (Evan) Miller and the late Amy M. Grueninger and James D. Grueninger. Dear great-grandmother of Lily E. Herbers. Dear sister-in-law, aunt, great-aunt, and friend. Gail was a long time language arts teacher in the Mehlville School District in the 1970's, 80's and 90's. Memorials to the American Cancer Society or St. Paul's UCC are appreciated. Services: Visitation Friday, February 23, 2018, at JOHN L. ZIEGENHEIN & SONS FUNERAL HOMES (South County), 4830 Lemay Ferry Road (63129), from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. Visitation Saturday, February 24, at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, 5508 Telegraph Road (63129) from 10:00 am to the time of funeral service at 11:00 am Saturday.
