Frederick George Dietzler, affectionately known as Fred, entered into rest on Thursday, November 7, 2024, in Saint Louis. Born on April 6, 1956, in Queens, New York, Fred lived a life that touched many through his career as a pharmacist and his warm-hearted spirit.
Fred was a devoted family man, having shared 45 wonderful years of marriage with his loving wife, Judy (nee Sirakas) Dietzler. Together, they raised two children, Christina (Richard) Worth and Jeff (Kelly) Dietzler, who brought him immense joy and pride. Fred held a special place in his heart for his grandchildren, fondly referred to as "papa D," as he cherished time spent with Rylee Worth and Camden Worth and the rest of his family.
His life was further enriched by a close-knit circle of family and friends. Fred was particularly fond of his aunt Diane (Carl) Lehmann and enjoyed the company of his dear cousins Deborah (Peter) Anderson, Deana (Chris) Chiusano, and Darrie (Rob) Cosban. He had a treasured friendship with Cindy & Jim Dunning and their extended family, which added to the tapestry of love and fellowship in his life. Most notably, Fred's beloved dog, Bennie, was not just a pet but also his steadfast companion and best friend.
Fred's personality was characterized by a dry, sarcastic wit that endeared him to many. He had a plethora of interests, enjoying music, food, and, notably, his preferences for ice tea and sweets. He took great pleasure in attending football games, proudly supporting his teams, the Kansas City Chiefs and his college team, Mizzou. Fred cherished traveling with his family, creating lasting memories in places like New York City and Silver Dollar City, as well as enjoying the tranquility of the mountains.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Hazel (McGuinness) Dietzler, along with his beloved dog, Lexi.
