Ferdinand Kuhns, Jr.

Kuhns, Ferdinand, Jr. gone home to the Lord on Tuesday, February 19, 2013, at the age of 89 years. Devoted husband of Phyllis Ann Kuhns (nee Ringwald) for 48 years, dear father of Michael and David Kuhns and Deborah Wagner; dear proud grandfather of Shayla and Chloe; dear family friend of Sarah Porteous; dear cousin and friend to many. Dear son of the late Ferdinand, Sr. and Rose Kuhns. Ferd was a past member of Oakhill Presbyterian Church, presently St. Lucas U.C.C.. He was a graduate of St. Louis University and was an accountant with Hubbell Metals for 35 years. He finished his career with the United States Government, and was a US Navy veteran of WWII. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name to Emmaus Homes Development office, 2200 Randolph Street, St. Charles, MO 63301-0896 would be appreciated. SERVICES: Visitation Sunday, 2-8 pm at JOHN L. ZIEGENHEIN & SONS, 4830 Lemay Ferry Road (63129) and Monday at Church 1:00 pm until time of service, 2:00 pm FUNERAL: Monday, 12:30 pm proceeding from Ziegenhein to St. Lucas United Church of Christ, 11735 Denny Road (63126). Interment with Full Military Honors at St. Lucas Cemetery. March 3, 2013
