Evelyn Gibbs

Evelyn M. Gibbs (nee Good), asleep in Jesus Thursday, November 7, 2024 in her 92nd year. 

Beloved mother of Michael (Deborah) Gibbs; proud grandmother of Laura (Peter) Frank and Jonathan Gibbs; dear great-grandmother of Sawyer, Melody, and Everett Frank; dear aunt of Deborah Jenkins and Cassie Waletzko; dear long-time friend to Pat Haenchen, Jean Mueller, Don and the late Marge Schmitz, and many more. 

Preceded in death by her parents John and Ruth Good, her sister Dorothy and Frank Jenkins, and cousin Dorothy and Ollie Heitmann. 

Evelyn worked at Target in Hampton Village for 39 years; retiring at age 85. She loved Cardinal baseball, music by Doris Day, and eating at Culver’s, Cane’s and Panera. 

Visitation to be held at John L. Ziegenhein and Sons Funeral Homes - South City Chapel, 7027 Gravois Rd, St. Louis, MO 63116; Wednesday, November 13, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Funeral to be held at Ascension Lutheran Church, 5347 Donovan Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63109, Thursday, November 14 at 10 a.m.; visitation at church one hour prior to service. 

Interment will be at Our Redeemer Cemetery.
