Eugene Tanner

Tanner, Eugene A. Passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 7, 2017, at the age of 77. Loving husband of Michele (nee Hudson); father of Scott T. (Therese) and Amy (Ken) Higgins Benedick; grandfather of Eric (Natalie) Higgins and Jacob (Danielle), Steven, Jared, and Andrew Tanner; great-grandfather of Remington Higgins; son of Marie H. Tanner and the late Eugene J. Tanner; brother of Alfred D. (Valarie) Tanner; dear uncle, cousin, and friend. Gene worked at McDonnell Douglas and Boeing for 34 years, retiring in 2002. He owned Tanner Photography Studio for 20 years. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to (Kingshighway) New Covenant Methodist Church. Services: Friday, 10:00 a.m., at JOHN L. ZIEGENHEIN & SONS FUNERAL HOMES, 7027 Gravois Avenue (63116). Private interment Mount Hope Cemetery. VISITATION: THURSDAY, 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. May 11, 2017
