Eugene Boll

Boll, Eugene H. "Gene" Baptized into the hope of Christ's resurrection on Wed., Nov. 11, 2015 at age 81. Beloved husband of the late Margaret M. Boll "Peggy" (nee Wittmann). Beloved father of Julie (Ken) McLean, Celeste (Thomas) Engel and Melissa (Dan) Stratman. Loving grandfather of Kelly, Alex, Eileen, Laura, Elizabeth, Ellen, and Abigail. Dear brother of Clara and the late Virginia, Lorraine, Rosemary, Rita, Dolores, and Robert. Dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend. Gene was an accomplished Pattern Maker by trade. He was one of the 5 original men who saved the Shrine of St. Joseph Church for future generations and founded the Friends of St. Joseph's Shrine which funded the restoration. Services: Visitation Sunday (11/15/15) from noon to 5 pm at JOHN L. ZIEGENHEIN & SONS, 7027 Gravois (63116). Funeral Mass Monday 10:00 am at the Shrine of St. Joseph, 1220 N. 11th St. (63106) followed by a lunch reception. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Friends of St. Joseph's Shrine are appreciated.
