Elsie Bernthal

Bernthal, Elsie M., (95) of Saint Louis, Missouri, was born to William and Thelma Moll and entered into rest Saturday, April 10, 2021 in St. Louis, Missouri.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her siblings.

She is survived by, her loving and devoted husband, James W. Bernthal, five (5) children, Carol Williams, Jean (Greg) Imhof, Michael Bernthal, Nancy (Tony) Avena and Jeff (Barbara) Bernthal, four (4) grandchildren, Ryan (Melissa) Imhof, Christine Avena, Becca (Justin) Haun and Elise Bernthal, five (5) great grandchildren, Lilly, James, Henry, Thomas and Aubrey, many other relatives and friends.

Elsie was a welcoming, loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt. Nothing was more important to Elsie than her family. She enjoyed every moment she was able to spend with them and loved playing with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks those wishing to honor her memory perform an act of kindness or donate to the charity of their choice.

Services will be held at Christ Memorial Lutheran Church, 5252 S. Lindbergh (63126). Visitation, Tuesday, April 20, 2021 from 9:00 am until time of Service at 10:00 am. Interment will be Private.
