The past 17 years were spent working at the Board of Religious Organizations, a non-profit children's Charity in St. Louis , as bookkeeper, secretary and office manager. Edith enjoyed spending time with her cats, water color painting and sketching, and constructing crossword puzzles. She had several puzzles published in magazines and continued to dream of having her work published in the New York Times. Edith was an avid collector of art supplies and books and had an enormous collection of crossword clues ready to be inserted into puzzles for possible publication. She was a strong supporter of many animal rescue organizations in St. Louis and throughout the country. Thank you to all the staff at Beauvais Manor in St. Louis for their loving care. Thank you to Nick and Jill for "adopting" Max and making him a part of your family. A special thank you to Nick for taking the time to bring Max in to visit Edith.
