Roettger, Earl Charles William, suddenly on Wednesday, April 11, 2012. Beloved husband for almost 64 years of Arleen Roettger (nee Baumer); dear son of the late William and Emma Roettger (nee Pescetto) and brother of the late Raymond J. Roettger; Dear brother-in-law of June (Fred) Kummer and Jackie (Don) Brosius; loving dad and father-in-law of Deborah (George) Genovese, the late Randall (Phyllis - survives) Roettger, and Lisa (the late Harry) Bean; beloved "PaPa" to Heather Roettger, Jason (Jaymie) Genovese, Gina Genovese, Heidi (Tim) Boeser, Holly (Bryan) Dickerson and Chelsea Clark. Dear "Great PaPa" of Gannon, Grant, Cora, Gage, Zane, Sadie, Harlie and Mia. Earl was the last lineman on trouble truck for the Public Service Co. He worked in construction and is a retired Labor Local #42 member for 50+ years. Earl was a member of Historic Trinity Lutheran Church and a former member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church He enjoyed Melody Squares and Good Timers for a number of years and was part of the Jackson School group. He was a U.S. Army veteran and was the top ice cream scooper at Laclede Groves. We miss him already. He was a "special" uncle and great-uncle to many nieces and nephews, cousin, godfather and dear friend and neighbor SERVICES: Visitation Sunday, April 15, 2012, 3-9PM at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons (South County) 4830 Lemay Ferry Rd, 63126 and Monday 10 am until time of service at 11am at Historic Trinity Lutheran Church ~ Soulard. Interment with full Military Honors at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Memorials to Gateway Paralyzed Veterans of America, 1311 Lindbergh Plaza Center, St. Louis, MO 63132, would be appreciated. "Z"
