Dula J. Rammacher (nee Macke)
Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at the age of 84. Born the 4th of 7 (3 surviving) children in Laflin, MO on November 8, 1935 to the late Joseph and the late Anna (nee Holweg) Macke. Loving wife of the late Joseph Rammacher. Dear mother of Debra (Mark) Shipley, Peggy (Bill) Winckowski, Andrew Rammacher, and Sally (Ronald) Thomas. Dear grandmother of Ryan (Rene) and Daniel (Sheila) Shipley; Kerri (Bill) Reynolds, Richard III (Amanda), Kimberly, and Stephen (Claire) Dengler; Dr. Adam (Megan) Rammacher; Hayley (Dr. Timothy) Lonergran; Sgt. Joseph, Officer Philip (Kara), Thomas (Michelle), and Patricia (Jacob) Wells. Loving great grandmother of 27. Our dear sister, aunt, great-aunt, and friend to many. Memorials to the Backstoppers, Inc. or the Maria Lupo Memorial Scholarship at Notre Dame Highschool.
Dula worked at the candy counter at Bissinger’s in Crestwood. After retiring she enjoyed trips to Tunica with friends, going to the casinos in St. Louis with Dean Hauser and Sue Hammelan and trips to the Botanical Garden. She spent the last few months of her life living with her daughter Peggy, always surrounded by friends and family, especially her great grandchildren: Keegan, Mark, Emily, Luke, Clayton, Logan, Owen, Grace, Jack, Sam, Evan, Emma, Cora, Leon, Stella, Colin, Georgia, Conner, Isabella, Sophia, Liam, Benjamin, Alison, the late Sean, Lilly, Khloe, and Scarlett. She died surrounded by all the ones she loved.
Visitation on Sun. 11/1 from 2-6pm at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons Funeral Home (7027 Gravois). Funeral Mass on Mon. 11/2 at Sts. Mary and Joseph Chapel (6304 Minnesota Ave.) at 11:45am. Procession from Ziegenhein at 11:30am, visitation and prayers at 11am. Interment Jefferson Barracks Nat’l Cemetery.
