Drucilla Fleming

May 10, 1926 — June 3, 2013

Fleming, Drucilla "Dru" (nee South), age 87, died at Missouri Baptist Hospital on June 3, 2013, from a stroke following surgery. Born May 10, 1926 in East St. Louis, IL, she lived in St. Louis, Warrenton, Naperville, IL, Mesa, AZ and back to St. Louis and was known for her seamstress talents, beautiful homes and wonderful singing voice. "Dru" was a member of the Catholic Church, including many years at St. Dominic Savio in Affton. Survivors include a sister, Rita (Tom) Thompson of Belleville, IL, daughter, Linda Mullins of St. Louis and sons James Fleming of Naperville, IL and Robert Fleming (Winnie Gunn) of Rolla. She is preceded in death by her husband John "Jack" Fleming and brothers William, Thomas and Henry South, all of Belleville, IL. Also, Dru was the proud grandmother of Angela, Carrie and James Mullins and great-grandmother of Alexander, Jonathan, Elijah and Josephine Mullins. SERVICES: Following cremation, a celebration of Dru's life will be held at Our Lady of Snows Apartment Community Chapel, 726 Community Drive, Saturday, June 22, 2013 at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, Masses preferred at St. Dominic Savio or St. Margaret Mary Alacoque. Celebration of Life, Saturday, June 22, 2013
