Dr. Metropoulos

Metropoulos, Dr. John George, was born in Astoria, NY on December 27, 1949 to George and Maria Metropoulos. He is a graduate of Queens College and New York School of Podiatry. He met his wife Patricia Salmo during his residency at Lindell Hospital. Dr. Metropoulos was on staff at Deaconess, St. John's Mercy, St. Anthony's and St. Mary's Hospitals. He is also a Past President of the Missouri State Board of Podiatry. He is survived by his wife Patricia, his children Nicholas (Kemba), Andrew, Sarah (Andrew) and Jason. He has one grandchild, Giovanni, 6 sisters-in-law, 8 brothers-in-law, several nieces and nephews in addition to countless friends and former patients. The family is grateful to the deGreeff Hospice House for their compassion and care. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations made in Dr. Metropoulos' honor to the deGreeff Hospice House.
