Weindell, Dr. William Otto, BS, DC, (5/22/1924-1/1/2014) Peacefully passed in the presence of his family. Beloved husband of Pauline Lenore (nee Ossig) Weindell. Predeceased by his father, William Adolph and mother Loretta Anna (nee Roehrig) Weindell. Wonderful and proud father of son William Christ, daughters Stephanie Turek, Adrienne (Rick) Viehland, Lisa (fiancé Stanley Lashley) Adams and Eve (Dave) Barnoski. Grandfather to Ryan and Amanda Turek, Tyler and Eli Schrader, Sarrah Adams, and Ava Barnoski. Former son in law of Steve Turek. World War II Veteran of the Battle of the Bulge and Omaha Beach. Dr. Weindell graduated from St. Louis University in the first class of male physical therapists in 1950, and graduated from Missouri College of Chiropractic, which later merged with Logan College of Chiropractic, in 1955. He loved music, especially the tenor saxophone, and pitching horse shoes and going to school. He never stopped learning: he became a certified acupuncturist, kinesiologist, and taught at several chiropractic colleges across the country. William was a wonderful husband for 66 years to his bride, Pauline. He also was a great, loving and dedicated father and grandfather to his five children and six grandchildren. Most of all, he was a family man-a man of honor, wisdom, compassion and always put God first in his life. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Arnold or charity of donor's choice. Services: Visitation Friday (1/3/14) at JOHN L.
