Dorothy Holtmann

Holtmann, Dorothy Louise (nee Setchfield) Passed away peacefully, after a brief illness, on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at the age of 81. She leaves behind her husband of 61 years, Norman Holtmann. Beloved mother of Vickie (John) Becvar, Vincent (Ann) Holtmann, John Holtmann, Jim (Mary) Holtmann, and Fr. Chris Holtmann; grandmother of Jill (Peter), Jaimie (Dan), Adam, Kim, Scott (Meredith), Lisa (Alen), Julie, Drew, and Ben; great-grandmother of Grant, Alissa, Colin, and Bradley; dear sister, sister-in-law, aunt, great-aunt, cousin, and friend. Longtime parishioner of Our Lady of Sorrows; proud member of the Ladies' Culture Club and St. Mark's Pinochle Club; an avid reader and novice poet. Dot will be missed by her many friends and extended family. In lieu of flowers, Masses preferred. Services: MEMORIAL VISITATION 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. on FRIDAY, June 15 at JOHN L. ZIEGENHEIN & SONS FUNERAL HOMES, 7027 Gravois Avenue, Saint Louis, MO 63116. Family and friends are then invited to gather and visit at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 16 at Our Lady of Sorrows Parish, 5020 Rhodes Avenue (at Kingshighway) St. Louis, MO 63109 and are encouraged to stay for the celebration of life Memorial Mass at 11:00 a.m. Saturday.
