ARENDES, DOROTHY A. Asleep in Jesus on Thursday May 16, 2013 at the age of 91. Wife of the late George L. Arendes. Beloved mother of Susan Lynn (Richard) Hagan and Paul (Jennifer) Arendes. Dear grandmother of Julie, Matthew, Brian & Megan Eaton and Kate Arendes. Great-grandmother of Alexia Eaton. Our dear aunt, cousin and friend to many. Dorothy was a longtime member of Ascension Lutheran Church and was active in the Evening Guild & Girl Scouts. She was an artist that loved to paint. Dorothy spent her career as a homemaker with her family and then sold real estate for Neubauer Realty. SERVICES: Funeral service Tuesday 11:30am at Ascension Lutheran Church, 5347 Donovan Ave. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. VISITATION Monday at JOHN L. ZIEGENHEIN & SONS 7027 Gravois Avenue from 4 to 9pm and Tuesday at church 10:30am until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ascension Lutheran Church or The Humane Society of Missouri. May 20, 2013
