Doris Reinhardt

August 25, 1921 — December 3, 2017

Doris Geneva Reinhardt (nee Schneider) born 8/25/21. Went to be with the Lord Jesus on 12/3/17 at the age of 96 years. Preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Mamie Schneider, sister Donna, brothers LaVelle, Robert, and Howard. She leaves behind her loving husband of 68 years Edward , daughter Jill Dickerson (Jeff) , son Edward Reinhardt jr. (Laura), Beloved aunt of Vicki McKeethen, who she was blessed to help raise. She was a loving grandmother to Abby Dickerson (her buddy) and Lauren Reinhardt. She also leaves behind multiple nieces and nephews and their children. At the age of 19 Doris bravely left for the big city. There she met the love of her life when she stepped in for a blind date. Her husband said when they met she really didn't like him but interestingly enough they married one year later. Doris was employed at the small arms plant during WWII, sold clothing at Famous-Barr, helped her husband at Reinhardt printing and enjoyed time working at Bill Gianinos restaurant in Oakville. Doris was a committed member at Concord Trinity United Methodist Church. Doris was an avid reader. Doris was also a skilled seamstress and loved to paint with oils. She still looked great in a bikini. She loved to clean her house, which was always spotless. She put a fantastic meal on the table for her family. We will miss the truest unconditional love that she showered on her family. We will miss her and always be grateful for the gift God gave us in Doris Reinhardt. We take comfort in the fact that you are with your family in heaven and know you will greet us with open arms when we too leave this earth. December 05, 2017
