Doris Belknap

BELKNAP, Doris Jean (nee Evans), age 90. Beloved wife of the late Robert J. Belknap; loving mother of Susan Link (Ronald) and Kathleen Pulver (Craig); dear grandmother of Jennifer Link, Laura Link and Brian Link and Sarah Pulver, Rebecca Pulver and Benjamin Pulver; dear sister of Geraldine Evans VanDyke: loving great-grandmother of seven children. Passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 after a short illness following a long and full life. Doris was a nurse in Cleveland, OH and had a lifetime of dedicated service to her church, to the Presbyterian Women's Organization, to peace, justice and equality groups and issues, to volunteer teaching, to fair trade practices, and political activism for those who could not speak for themselves. She served as a volunteer in many capacities at the Garden Valley Neighborhood House in Cleveland, OH. She enjoyed reading, playing bridge, travel, Bible study, gardening and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Memorials may be forwarded to Garden Valley Neighborhood House, 7100 Kinsman Rd, Cleveland, OH 44104. (Please include a notation with your check "Doris Belknap Memorial Fund.)
