Donald E. Binz Sr. Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother church on Wednesday January 8, 2025, at the age of 94. Beloved husband of the late Marietta Binz (nee Saunders) for 69 years. Dear father and father-in-law of Dr. Don and Kathy Binz, Dan and Mary Binz, Tom and Stephanie Binz, Jeff Binz and Jim and Christine Binz; Dear grandpa of Dr. Nikki (Frank Grecco), David (Dr. Liz), Steven (Stephanie), John (Dr. Kirsten), Andrew (Laura), Kristen, Andrea (Etienne Carabeufs), Scott (Ashley), Ryan and Matthew Binz. Dear great-grandpa. Dear brother of the late Lou Binz and Bob (surviving Karen) Binz. Our dear brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, cousin, and dear friend of many. Don was a dedicated funeral director with John L. Ziegenhein & Sons for 45 years. He was a 60 year and Life Member of South Side Lions Club, Melvin Jones Fellow, Lemay Memorial Post #162 American Legion and C.B.C. Class of 1948.
