Dewey Scott

Scott, Dewey L. Asleep in Jesus on Saturday, January 30, 2016, at the age of 80. Husband for over 56 years to Dolores (nee Poskin); special buddy to William Nash, great nephew; dear uncle and friend. Dewey is preceded in death by his sister and two brothers. Dewey was a journeyman machinist who earned a mechanical engineering degree from Washington University. He enjoyed inventing and held two patents. He was an avid aviator and sportsman. He proudly served his country for nine years, one in the Army and eight in the Air National Guards. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Gethsemane Lutheran Church, the Humane Society of Missouri, the St. Louis Zoo, or to any wildlife organization are appreciated, or simply help an elderly person. Services: Thursday, 2:00 p.m. Gethsemane Lutheran Church, 765 Lemay Ferry Road (63125). Interment at Park Lawn Cemetery. VISITATION: THURSDAY 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. at church. A service of JOHN L.
