Delores Martin

Martin, Delores "Dee" (nee Weber), 86, of St. Louis, MO passed away16 September, 2014. Delores was raised in the Lutheran Children's Home in St. Louis, MO. She was a member of St. Lucas Lutheran Church. She loved her children and enjoyed quilting and embroidery work. Mother of 9 children, she is survived by her children: Skip (Mary), Laury (Bernie), Nick (Carrie), Chris, David (Pat), and Roxanne Schwartzkopf and Linda Hieber (Chuck) and Deborah Breeze (Rick); nieces and nephews, Chris and Susan Soots, Bev Kirkman (Shontz) and Jimmy Shontz; her sister, Jinny (the late John) Shontz; and former husband, Rev. Elmer Schwartzkopf, grandchildren, great grandchildren, 4 step sons, 1 sister-in-law and many friends. Preceded in death by her loving husband Bert Martin; her parents, Robert and Lillie Weber; sister, Rose (John) Soots; son, Pete Schwartzkopf; and life-long friend, Fran Fulkerson. Services: Cemetery services will be performed by Pastor Paul Biber at 12:45 pm on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at J. B. National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO.
