David Altmann

David G. Altmann, 62, passed away on September 29, 2022. Son of the late Frank E. and the late Mary Ann, nee Hoffmann, Altmann, devoted father of, Daniel David Altmann, dear brother of; the late Mary Allen, James M. (Mary) Altmann, John T. (Rita) Altmann, Anne E. (Tom) Bruchmiller, Joseph P. (Wanda) Altmann, Theresa M. Altmann, Julia A. Altmann, and Timothy Altmann. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nephews other relatives, and many dear friends.

David loved to read, listen to jazz music, and root for the St. Louis Cardinals and the St. Louis Blues. He enjoyed coaching his son’s soccer team when he was in grade school at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic School. David loved “Laffy Taffy” jokes and had as the saying goes “Knew a million of them”. He was well liked and respected by his coworkers and friends.

Memorials services will be at 11 am, on Friday, October 7, 2022, at John L. Ziegenhein and Sons Funeral Home, 7027 Gravois Ave. St. Louis, MO 63116. Visitation will be held an hour prior at the funeral home. Interment will be in Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery.
