Colleen Landefeld

Colleen Landefeld, 76, of St. Louis, MO, passed away on May 18, 2019. She was a part of the legal community and worked as a paralegal for Legal Services of Eastern Missouri for over 20 years. She loved working in the law field and impacted the elderly community with her commitment to elderly law. She lived in many places in her life-time but resided the majority of it in New Baden, IL, which is where she considered home. She loved to travel by car and had been to every state with the exception of Hawaii. She took pride in the fact that she visited almost every National Park and National Forest. She was blessed with numerous friends and loved to do "lunches" with them. To her family, she was their rock. She is proceed by Curtis Odom (husband), Ruth Bailey (grandmother), and Pervis Bailey (father). She is survived by her daughters Erin Hawkins (Tim Hawkins) and Heather Chesser (John Chesser) along with their children, her grandchildren, Cole Sutton, Van Hakwins, Ty Hawkins and Maxwell Chesser. Her step-children, Denise Pearson (Greg Pearson), Dawn Kerher (Joe Kerher) and Scott Odom (Stephanie Kavanaugh) and thier children their children, her grandchildren, Jennifer Westerfield, Zachary Timmons, Trenna Laux, Brandt Kerher, Ashton Kerher, Katie Kerher. Her sisters, Judy McNary and Nancy Clark (Bruce Clark) along with sister in-laws Gay Eckert, Wanda Gildig and Rita Odom, and brother in-law Phil Odom. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Memorial Donations in Colleen's name may be made to Helping Hands and Horses. Visitation will be held from 11am until the time of the Funeral Service at 1pm, at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons Funeral Home (7027 Gravois Ave. St. Louis, MO, 63109). Interment at Sts.
