Carol Ziegler

Ziegler, Carol A. (nee Emms) peacefully entered into Heaven on November 3, 2022, at the age of 77.

Carol was a 1962 graduate of Bishop DuBourg High School.  She married Bob Ziegler on August 5, 1967.  Carol was a Catholic School Teacher for 40 years.  She enjoyed her prayer group, was an avid reader, loved travelling especially to their beach house in Destin and boating at the lake.  Spent her last 14 years spoiling her 3 beloved grandchildren.

Carol was preceded in death by her husband Robert S. Ziegler, parents Harry & Dorothy (nee Murphy) Emms and brother Tom Emms.

She was devoted mother of Lynn (David) Swaykus; cherished grandmother of Annabelle, Sam and Charlie; and mother of Londa Ziegler; beloved sister-in-law of Susan Emms, Barbara (David) Rodgers, Margaret (William) Hogg, Bill (JoAnn) Ziegler; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm @ John L. Ziegenhein & Sons, 4830 Lemay Ferry Road, Saint Louis, MO (63129).  Mass will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2022 @ 9:15 am @ St. Catherine of Laboure Catholic Church, 9740 Sappington Road, Saint Louis, MO (63128). Interment following Mass will be held @ Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
