Carol Ann Roberts, nee Wentz, entered into rest on Friday November 1, 2024, at the age of 79. Beloved wife of 60 years of Troy R. Roberts; beloved mother of Pamela J. (Tom E.) Worsham and the late Timothy J. Roberts; cherished grandmother of Zachary T. (Jessica Walker) Worsham and Caitlin J. (Daniel S.) Besand; blessed great-grandmother of Peyton Wilson, Lorali Wilson, and Joshua D. Besand; treasured sister of Kenneth R. Wentz and Kathleen J. Peinetti; and dear friend to many.
Preceded in death by, but reunited in peace with, her parents Edward V. and Elsie A., nee Sickmeier, Wentz; and brothers Raymond Wentz and Jerome Wentz.
Carol was born in 1945, ringing in the beautiful Autumn season, in St. Louis, Missouri. She would go on to attend and graduate from Southwest High School. Following her schooling, Carol started her family after marrying Troy, and came to be known as a quintessential homemaker. She is remembered for her headstrong perspective and the loving home she held, as well as her meals like Polish sausage and sauerkraut. Carol loved to spend time with her family whether it was traveling or staying close to home, and especially loved, and took pride in, her roles of grandmother and great-grandmother.
The memories that her family made with her will be cherished forever. May Carol rest in peace.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to Gateway Food Pantry in Arnold in Carol's honor.
