Bodicky, Carol J. (nee Hoffman), on Sunday, March 10, 2013; beloved wife of Ray Bodicky; dear mother of Michael (Heather) Budak, Jacqi (Rick) Sangster, Mark (Laura) Bodicky and Scott (Lori) Bodicky; dear grandmother of Ryan, Andrew, Nicholas, Blake, Alexandra, Kathryn & Alex; dear sister of Ronald (Bette) Hoffman and Sharon Hoffman; our dear sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and friend. Carol graduated from Affton High School in 1957 Was Head Nurse at City Hospital for 10 years Worked at: Washington University and Veteran's Administration Hospital in the field of research which included - * Hepatitis B Virus * Shingles Prevention Study * National Speaker on the Hepatitis B Virus * Published in New England Journal of Medicine for her research on Hepatitis B Virus Was recognized at the 50 year class reunion of the Jewish School of Nursing for her expertise in the field of medicine and nursing Active supporter of her son's athletic careers through high school and college by being involved involved in the booster clubs and attendance at all the games. She extended that same support as her sons and daughter in-law coached their high school teams. LOVED to have fun with her family, especially her GRANDCHILDREN. She looked forward to her days of playing golf and bridge with her good friends along with traveling and experiencing the different areas and cultures of the world. Services: Visitation Thursday 5-9 pm at J OHN L. ZIEGENHEIN &SONS South County 4830 Lemay Ferry Rd., then on Friday from 10:00 am until time of service 11:00 am at Peace Lutheran Church 737 Barracksview Rd. (63125). Interment Private. In lieu of flowers memorials to, the American Heart Association or Shriners Hospital for Children. March 14, 2013
