Bruce Goldsmith

Goldsmith, Bruce J. asleep in Jesus on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at age 76.  Beloved husband and best friend of Merrily J. Goldsmith (nee Maetten) for 54 years.  Beloved father of Kimberlee J. Lauer and David B. Goldsmith.  Loving grandfather of Madeleine J. (fiancé Jarrod Honey) Lauer.  Dear brother of George “Moose” Goldsmith and Mark Goldsmith.  Dear brother-in-law of Patricia Maetten, Theodore (Suzzann) Maetten, and the late Carolyn (Lyman surviving) Kaiser.  Dear uncle, great-uncle, cousin, and friend to many.

Bruce was a long-time active member of Peace Lutheran Church and the Steel Tigers-77th Armor Association.  He was an Eagle Scout and for many years was active in the Greater St. Louis Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America.

Services:  Visitation Thursday, (10/17/19), from 3:00 to 8:00 pm at JOHN L. ZIEGENHEIN & SONS FUNERAL HOMES (South County), 4830 Lemay Ferry Rd. (63129).

Visitation Friday, (10/18/19), at Peace Lutheran Church, 737 Barracksview Road (63125), from 9:00 am to the time of funeral service at 10:00 am Friday; followed by interment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery with full military honors.
