Bobbie Jake Sipp, 83, of Imperial, Missouri, entered into rest on Saturday, August 12, 2023, at de Greeff Hospice House in St. Louis County.
Bobbie was born June 28, 1940, in East Prairie, MO, to Jake and Eddie B (Hayden) Sipp. Beloved husband of Brenda Sharlene (Wolford) Sipp, devoted father of Clayton (Deanna) Sipp and Randy (Jolee) Sipp, cherished grandfather to Justin Sipp, Quinn (Stormy) Turner, Bri Fouquet, Sam Sipp, Rachael (Matt) Meyer, Abby Sipp, Cynthia (Elizabeth) Sipp, and Luke (Leighton) Sipp, loving brother of the late Margie Sipp, Jackie (Mark) Wamble, the late Bruce (Linda) Sipp, Eddie (Pauline) Sipp, and Ricky (Debbie) Sipp, great-grandfather of 15 great-grandchildren, and loving uncle, cousin, and friend to many.
Bobbie was a veteran of the US Navy, serving 4 years on the USS Koiner DE-331. He was a retired machine operator having worked over 20 years at Baldor Electric. He was a devoted member and Sunday school teacher at Friendship Assembly of God in Lemay, Missouri.
Visitation will be held August 15, 2023, from 10:00 am until Celebration of Life at 12:00 Noon at John. L. Ziegenhein and Sons Funeral Home South County Chapel, at 4830 Lemay Ferry Rd, St. Louis, MO 63129. Interment will immediately follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri. Dinner to follow at Friendship Assembly of God, 754 Regina Ave, St. Louis, MO 63125.
