Betty Omohundro

December 16, 1931 — September 23, 2020

Passed away peacefully on Wednesday September 23, 2020.  Born December 16, 1931, she was the widow of the late Joseph Omohundro;  mother of Carmen (Eric) Magness; grandmother of Kimberly Lane and Craig Grob;  great grandmother of Brandon, Bryson, Sonny and Emerald.  Special Gimmie to Roman.  Daughter of the late Anna and Steven Kulifay;  dear sister of Kathy (Gary) Knippenberg and the late Audrey Daniel & Richard Kulifay.  Step-mother to Kenneth and the late Dale Omohundro, step-grandmother, aunt, cousin, neighbor and friend.

Betty graduated from McKinley High School in 1949 and retired from White-Rodgers division of Emerson Electric after 40+ years of service as an assembler.  She was a lifetime member of St. Lucas Ev. Lutheran Church and spent many years as a volunteer at the former Incarnate Word Hospital and Cardinal Glennon Hospital.  She will be loved and missed by many.

We would like to express our gratitude to Ashley, Tracy, Jamie and the entire staff of Scenic Nursing and Rehab Center in Herculaneum for their loving, tireless care.  We would also like to thank Mercy Hospice - Jefferson.

Funeral Service Monday with visitation from 930am until service time at 10am at St. Lucas Lutheran Church.  The burial is private.
