Betty Gradle

Gradle, Betty G. (nee Gallo) passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at age 96 1/2. Beloved wife for 58 years of the late Kenneth A. Gradle. Dear Mother of Michael T. (Gerrie) Gradle and the late Patricia M. Aguillard (nee Roberts). Dear Sister of Eleanor (the late Paul) Lumetta and the LATE Mary (Frank) Kaufmann, Millie (Larry) White, Terri (Barney) Nuessli, Joe (Dorothy) Gallo, Evelyn Gallo and Elsie Gallo. Dear grandmother, aunt, great-aunt, great-grandmother and friend to many. Betty was born and raised in the Soulard area of St. Louis, Missouri and attended McKinley High School. She married Kenneth A. Gradle on January 31, 1948 in St. Louis, Missouri and was a homemaker her entire life. Betty loved gardening, music, shopping, star-gazing and was an avid walker because she did not drive a car. The Gradle Family is grateful to the Staff at Mark Twain Manor Nursing Home as well as to Heartland Hospice Care, especially Candy Johnson.
