April 3, 1938 — February 12, 2025

Wagner, Barbara J. (nee Schell) passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at the age of 86. She was the beloved wife of the late William “Bill” Wagner, Jr.; devoted mother of Cindy (Arthur) Sullivan, Vicki Viloria, and Phillip (Heidi) Wagner; and cherished grandmother of David Sullivan, Dominic Viloria, and Dante Viloria. She was proceeded in death by her parents William and Etta Schell; sister, Patricia (Jerry) Shobe; and brother William Schell Jr. 

Barbara lived in the St. Louis area her entire life. She lived in Lemay, Mo during her younger years and early married life. She graduated from Mehlville High School and was a member of the National Honor Society. She married Bill at the Southside Church of Christ in St. Louis where they were both members. Shortly after they married, they had 3 children, Cindy, Vicki and Phillip. They later moved to Arnold, Mo. where Bill and Barbara lived in the same house 53 years. They were members of the Arnold Church of Christ. Barbara was a children’s Bible school teacher there for many years. They were happily married 63 years until Bill passed away in 2020. They loved going to the Muny Opera together and were long-time season ticket holders. During the past 5 years, she has lived at Mason Pointe in Chesterfield, Missouri where she enjoyed putting together jigsaw puzzles, playing Bingo, doing chair exercises, and participating in other activities.
