Barbara L. Miller (nee Weiss) died on July 20, 2022 at the age of 84. Barb was a life-long St Louisan, she was the daughter of William and Audrey (nee Heitland) Weiss. She married her high-school sweetheart James (Jim) Miller in 1956. He died in 2016. There is surely a beautiful reunion happening in heaven as they look into each other’s eyes once again. Barb is survived by a brother, Bill Weiss (Cyndi); three children, Linda Smith, Jim Miller, and Denise Kimble; one son-in-law Art Smith; eleven grandchildren, Rachel Conway, (Cory) Tom Smith, Jason Hueffmeier, (Laci) Nikki MacDonald, (Paul) Christina Roeder, (Glenn) Steven Hueffmeier, (Kayla) Maggie Kimble, Michael Kimble, Nicole Jonas, Kara Littlefield (Nick), and Candace Jonas; 17 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, godchildren, and friends. Another brother, Gary Weiss predeceased her. Barb loved to create, her wedding cakes were especially stunning, she loved to paint scenery and flowers, and she always put her special touch on a wrapped gift, boy could she whip up a beautiful bow. She was passionate about traveling, especially to the beach. She loved to read, starting a new book every few days, and especially liked to read on the balcony of La Bahia at Pensacola Beach. Barb was very generous with her time and in helping those who were down on their luck. Our mother was a very strong woman, she was always there for us no matter what. In remembrance of her beautiful spirit: “Now I know why you always told me to be strong. You knew that one day I would need the strength to bear your loss.
