Greer, Barbara Kay (nee Tally), asleep in Jesus on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at age 56. Beloved wife and friend for 36+ years to Duane K. Greer. Beloved mother and best friend to Alicia (Matt) Ferdinand and Amanda (Tim) Ellis. Loving "Mimi" of Jackson, Parker and Brooks Ellis. Dear daughter of Minerd and Etta Tally. Dear daughter-in-law of Jack and Linda Greer and Olga (the late Lowell) Fisher. Dear sister of Elizabeth (Robert) Gassner, Kathaleen (Dan Hartle) Tally and Sheila Ellis. Dear Aunt "Barbie," great-aunt, cousin and friend to many. As Coach Barb, she touched hundreds of lives through her love and teaching of gymnastics from the mid 1990's to 2003. Barb was known as "coach" and "second mom" to many young people. For many years Barb brought peace and comfort to many lives as she changed hearts and minds through her counseling skills. Barb was considered a medical "anomaly." We all knew she was unique, special and took "one of a kind" to a new level. Memorials to St. Jude Children's Hospital or other organizations for children are appreciated. Services: Visitation Friday, (3/3/17), from 3 to 8 pm at JOHN L. ZIEGENHEIN & SONS FUNERAL HOMES, 7027 Gravois Avenue (63116). Visitation Saturday, (3/4/17), at the LUTHERAN CHURCH OF WEBSTER GARDENS, 8749 Watson Road, Webster Groves (63119), from 9:30 am to the time of funeral services at 10:30 am Saturday.
