Frank, August “Gus” W., on Thursday November 16, 2023, at the age of 83. Beloved husband of the late Janet E. Frank (nee Hahn); dear brother of the late Tony (Diana) Frank and Art (Ruth) Frank; devoted father of Sheri (Chris) Koutsogiannis, Denise (Dave) Greer, and Jim (Myra) Frank; cherished grandpa of Tyler Greer, Gus Frank, Kimberly Koutsogiannis, Max Frank, and Andrew Koutsogiannis; dear brother-in-law of Dennis (Sandy) Hahn; beloved friend to many.

Gus was a graduate of Cleveland High School where he was a pitcher on a state championship team. Gus went on to become an involved member of the National Association of Letter Carriers, Branch 343, where he eventually retired. In addition to being the Branch 343 chaplain, he was also the Muscular Dystrophy Association Champion for Branch 343. Gus’s leadership extended outside of his workplace. He had countless leadership roles at Redeemer Evangelical Church. In his free time, Gus enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by the many lives that he touched.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Redeemer Evangelical Church, Alzheimer’s Association, or Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA).

Visitation Sunday December 3, 2023, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. with funeral beginning immediate at 1:30 p.m. at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons South City Chapel 7027 Gravois Ave. St. Louis, MO 63116.
