Arleen M. Roettger

Roettger, Arleen Mae (nee Baumer) age 94 passed away peacefully on Monday, June 5 Surrounded by her loving daughters. Beloved wife of the late Earl C. W. Roettger for 64 years. Dear daughter of the late Arthur J. and Emma Baumer (nee Wolf); dear sister of June( the late Fred) Kummer, the late Jackie (surviving Don) Brosius; loving Mother and Mother-in-law of Deborah (George) Genovese; the late Randall (surviving Phyllis) Roettger, and Lisa (the late Harry) Bean (Frank Koch); beloved grandmother to Heather (Tom) Bess, Jason (Jaymie) Genovese, Gina (Sebastian) Talotta, Heidi (Tim) Boser, Holly (Bryan) Dickerson and Chelsea (Kyle) Aldinger; great grandmother of Gannon, Grant, Cora, Gage, Zane, Sadie, Harlie, Mia, Aniella, Giuseppe and Otillia.

 Arleen was a Vice President of Equality Savings and Loan, a member of Historic Trinity Lutheran Church and a former member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church. She enjoyed Melody Squares and Good Timers for a number of years and was an active resident of Laclede Grove Senior Community. She was a special aunt and great aunt to numerous nieces and nephews, a dear cousin, God Mother, friend and neighbor.

SERVICES: Visitation Monday, June 12, 2023 from 3-8 p.m. at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons (South County) 4830 Lemay Ferry Road 63129.Funeral Service Tuesday, June 13, 2023.   Visitation 9:00 a.m. at Laclede Groves Chapel, 723 So. Laclede Station Road 63119. Interment immediately following at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
