Archie C. "Butch" Lansing

Archie C. Lansing, affectionately known as "Butch," passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 8, 2024, at the age of 86. He was preceded in death by his devoted mother, the late Ruth Mary Lansing (née McLaughlin), and his cherished sister, the late Patricia Sielfleisch, and he was survived by numerous beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, neighbors, and coworkers.

Butch's life was a tapestry woven with dedication and passion. A proud Marine veteran and a committed member of the VFW, he exemplified service and camaraderie. His love of golf and bowling brought him joy, but it was his enthusiasm for firearms that truly defined his hobbies. Above all, Butch's heart belonged to his family, especially his dear mother and his cherished sister. He also adored and took great pride in his Mustang. His affection for dogs was evident in the way he delighted in giving treats to the neighborhood pups.

In his healthier days, Butch was a pillar of kindness and support in his community, always ready to lend a helping hand to his neighbors. He was a man of gentle spirit and generous heart. His presence will be profoundly missed, leaving a void in the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know him.
