Anna Bumpus

BUMPUS, ANNA MARIE Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, died peacefully on Friday, April 15, 2016 at the age of 85 surrounded by those who had lovingly cared for her. Anna Marie was born on September 28, 1930, the daughter of Roy and Ruth Bumpus (nee Nance) at Poplar Bluff, Missouri. She lived a full and rewarding life and always placed her loved ones before her own needs. Her final years were spent under the care of the Little Sisters of the Poor in St. Louis, Missouri. She is survived by sisters-in-laws, Pat Bumpus of Florida, Lois Bumpus of Poplar Bluff, Missouri and Gloria Wilson of Jackson, Missouri; a brother-in-law, Ted Brown of Tampa, Florida and many beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters, Mary Pearl Bumpus (infant), Louise AuBuchon and Margaret Brown and brothers Adrian Bumpus, Joe Bumpus, Jim Bumpus and Glen Bumpus. Anna Marie will be instate at Little Sisters of the Poor 3225 N. Florissant (63107) on Friday, April 22nd from 9:00am until time of mass at 10:30am. Memorials may be made to The Little Sisters of the Poor. Interment: Sacred Heart Cemetery, Poplar Bluff, MO. Friday 3:00pm. A service of JOHN L.
