Thomas, Alvin G. Died peacefully in his home on Saturday December 12, 2015. Beloved husband of Patricia Thomas; Dear father of Anthony (Anne) & Brian (Jennifer) Thomas; Loving grandfather of Christopher, Stephanie & Michael Thomas; Brother of Norma Leary. Our uncle, cousin and friend. Alvin retired from Monsanto's Carondelet Plant after 35 years. He was a dedicated member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church. Alvin loved to travel, was an avid duffer and was a member of the Hancock Sports Hall of Fame. Services: Funeral Tuesday, 11:00 am at St. Luke's United Methodist Church (2761 Telegraph Rd.) VISITATION MONDAY at JOHN L. ZIEGENHEIN & SONS South County, 4830 Lemay Ferry Rd. (63129) from 3pm to 8pm and Tuesday at church from 10am to 11am. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
