Alvin Moore

Moore, Alvin Coleman, passed away on Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, dear husband of the late Ruth Moore (nee Caskanett). Alvin was born on January 29, 1927 in Wayne County, TN to Sam and Ola Moore (nee Dickey), and married Ruth on Sept. 16, 1961. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth, his mother and father, 2 brothers, 1 sister, 4 brothers-in-law, 5 nieces and 1 nephew. Surviving are 4 sisters, Helen McGuire of New Madrid, MO, Margie Rhives of Bunker, MO, Crantha (Fran) Stanfill of Festus, MO and Carol McMillan of Palmyra, CA, a very special friend, Patricia Brisbain, several nieces, nephews and many friends. Services: Family and friends will gather at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons South County, 4830 Lemay Ferry Road, on Friday, December 7, 2012 at 10AM and then proceed to Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery for a chapel service with full military honors. Visitation Thurs. 4 - 8 PM. December 6, 2012
