ROGERS, ALONZO W. Born 2-27-1924 in Kennett, MO and passed peacefully from this life on April 26, 2014. Beloved husband of Jo Ann Rogers (nee Willis). Loving father of Cynthia Verdot, Delisa Strawhun and Bradley Rogers. Alonzo was preceded in death by his son, Alonzo Rogers, Jr. Grandfather of Wesley J. (Shannon) Rogers, Jeffrey (Michalean) Strawhun, Taylor Rae Dalton, Bradley Joe Rogers, Katherine Strawhun and Samantha Rogers. Alonzo will be greatly missed by his great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. Lifelong member of Mellow/Connection UMC and 55 year member of IBEW, Local 1. SERVICES: Funeral service Wednesday 11:00am at The Connection United Methodist Church-6701 Virginia Ave. Interment Mount Hope Cemetery. VISITATION AT JOHN L. ZIEGENHEIN & SONS-7027 Gravois Ave TUESDAY 4PM to 8PM. April 29, 2014
