Allen, a beloved husband, artist, and adventurer, leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. He married his soulmate, Deborah, on April 3, 1992, and together they shared 33 wonderful years of marriage.
Deborah was Allen's rock, dedicating herself to his care, especially during his battle with Alzheimer's. Her unwavering strength and love were a testament to their deep bond. Allen often reminisced about his childhood on the farm, a place he held close to his heart.
Allen had a passion for Westerns and was an avid traveler. He and Deborah loved hitting the road, with their favorite destinations being out West and Silver Dollar City in Branson. These trips were filled with joy and adventure, creating memories they treasured.
A man of many talents, Allen was an ex-Golden Gloves boxer and a gifted artist. His freehand paintings were so remarkable that Mr. Thompson, his high school art teacher, invited him back every year, a rare and special honor.
Allen's life was a beautiful journey, marked by love, creativity, and resilience. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. May his soul rest in peace.
