Allen Helldoerfer

March 16, 1991 — December 17, 2021

Allen Michael Helldoerfer, 30, passed away suddenly at home on December 17, 2021. He is the beloved son of John “Dave” and Mary Kay Helldoerfer (Jansen) from Oakville, dear brother of Daniel (Jessie Wand) of Affton and Matthew of Liberty, MO. He was the cherished grandson of Dolores and the late Ralph Jansen of Breese, IL, the late Evelyn and the late John “Harold” Helldoerfer of St. Louis, and Kathy Reeves of Tolono, IL.

Allen was a 2009 graduate of Oakville High School and worked in the kitchen of numerous local restaurants for many years and enjoyed the work. He was employed for the past year as a CNC and Fusion Saw Operator at StoneTrends in Chesterfield, MO where he learned the trade of cutting granite and Cambria countertops.

Allen had a passion for listening to and creating music, Heavy Metal and EDM (Electronic Dance Music) and was a talented drummer. He also was a computer enthusiast who was proficient at assembling and upgrading computers. Allen enjoyed skateboarding, playing cards (Magic and Yugio), table top games (Warhammer), and taught his family the dice game “Farkle”! His easygoing personality, generosity and kind heart touched all he met. Allen lived his life simply and was the model of a “living in the moment” personality.

His family and friends will miss him deeply.

A memorial service to celebrate Allen’s life will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at 11 am at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ-Oakville, 5508 Telegraph Road, St. Louis, MO  63129. Live stream via Zoom for those unable to attend .  A visitation was held on December 23, 2021 at John L. Ziegenhein Funeral Home South County Chapel, St. Louis, MO.
