Alicia Ulsas

Alicia Ulsas at age 83 of St. Louis, MO fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Monday, March 3rd, 2025. Alicia passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family.

Alicia was born on May 5, 1941, in St. Louis, MO to the late Joseph and Catherine Kalch; and was married to the late Mike (“the Tuckpointer”) Ulsas. 

Beloved mother of the late Michael (Kathy) Ulsas, Alan Ulsas, and Cathy Baumann (the late Michael). Cherished grandma of Kayla Ulsas, Michael Ulsas and Timothy Baumann. Devoted sister of Cathy Kalch and the late Louis Kalch. Dear aunt, cousin and friend to many.

Alicia was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who was devoted to her family. Throughout her life, Alicia was a homemaker through and through and considered a second mom/grandma by both her children’s and grandchildren’s friends. She was always someone who offered an ear to listen, a word of wisdom, and a loving presence to just sit with if you needed support. Throughout her life she gave her time to anybody in need, and with her passing will be dearly missed.

The family would like to thank the wonderful care team of the Mercy Hospice, St. Louis, and her special caregivers Suzanne and Rhonda.

In lieu of flowers memorials are appreciated to St. Vincent De Paul at St. Stephen Protomartyr Catholic Church.
