Adalle Brodsky

Adalle "Del" Brodsky, age 92, passed peacefully on January 22, 2018. She was born in St. Louis, MO on March 28, 1925 to Roy and Teresa Letner (nee Kearney). Beloved wife of the late Warren M. Brodsky. Dear mother of Michael (Wanda) Bertocchini and Patricia (Jim) Boehmer (nee Bertocchini) Loving grandmother of Dan Bertocchini, Chris Bertocchini & Natalie Boehmer. Loving great grandmother to Danielle, Jacob and Marissa. Our dear sister, aunt, cousin and friend to many. Del grew up in Lemay, Missouri. She attended and graduated from Hancock High School. She was an amazing mom and homemaker. She later worked at Famous-Barr in the Personnel Department until she retired. Visitation Friday 10:30am to 12:00pm. Funeral service at 12 noon. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimers Association. Del's strong will to live and the love and prayers of family and friends carried her through the last years of her life. Her precious gift of strength, constant nurturing love, and bringing joy and laughter to all who knew her will never be forgotten. She loved life, her family and her friends. She was deeply passionate about gardening, knitting, crocheting and cooking. She was always creating something beautiful to share. Her love for music was immense. She will be truly missed. If Roses Grow in Heaven If roses grow in Heaven, Lord please pick a bunch for us, Place them in her arms and tell her they're from us. Tell her we love her and miss her, and when she turns to smile, place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for awhile.
